Hi, Im Collin

I design bold, clean visuals focused on branding and digital content, built to communicate clearly and stand out.

Yes M.I.S.S. Inc.

The Gala

For the 2024 Gala at Yes, M.I.S.S. Inc., I developed the overall visual identity, including the logo, promotional graphics, and sponsorship materials. My role focused on creating a cohesive look across all touchpoints, from social media ads to event-related visuals, ensuring everything felt consistent and aligned with the organization’s mission. Alongside the event branding, I designed promotional content leading up to the Gala to build awareness and engagement, helping establish a strong and recognizable presence for the event.

Yes M.I.S.S. Inc.

Working with Yes, M.I.S.S. Inc., my role as a graphic designer focused on shaping a consistent and engaging visual presence that reflected the organization’s mission of empowering young women. Through the creation of weekly social media graphics and promotional content, I aimed to bring energy and clarity to their messaging, making their programs and events more visible and appealing to a younger audience.

While many nonprofit organizations rely on straightforward and informational visuals, my approach was to elevate the brand through cohesive design. From developing promotional materials for their Gala to designing digital and print assets, the goal was to create a visual experience that felt both professional and impactful, encouraging engagement while reinforcing the organization’s identity and purpose.

Project Overview

My Role: Graphic Designer

Date: 2024

Scope: Social Media Design, Event Branding, Print Design

My Thoughts: Working with Yes, M.I.S.S. Inc. was a really solid experience for me. I consistently created content every week, which helped me become faster and more confident with my design decisions. It also pushed me to think more about how my work actually represents an organization, not just how it looks. Being part of promoting their events, especially the Gala, made the work feel more real and impactful. I also appreciated being trusted with that level of responsibility, and getting a recommendation letter showed me that the work I was putting in actually mattered.

Triumphant Life Church

Triumphant Life Groups

One of my last assignments for Triumphant Life Church was to design all of the “Triumphant Life Groups” class graphics. They gave me a list of all the class names, some ideas, and direction, and I was able to create all 12 class designs for them.

Other Works

Triumphant Life Church

Working with Triumphant Life Church, my role centered on building and maintaining a consistent visual presence across both digital and physical platforms. I created weekly graphics for services, events, and announcements, and also contributed to larger projects like promotional campaigns, apparel design, and in-venue displays. While many organizations treat design as something secondary, this role made it clear that design was a core part of how they communicated.

From managing social media content to designing print and video assets, my goal was to create visuals that were consistent, engaging, and flexible enough to work across different platforms. This experience pushed me to work at a faster pace, handle a wider range of deliverables, and take real ownership of the brand’s overall visual identity.

Being trusted with recurring responsibilities and larger projects made me more confident in my ability to represent an organization visually and communicate its message clearly.

Senior Show

Faces of Totalilty

Faces of Totality was my senior exhibition that transformed the Sun, Moon, and Eclipse into human-like figures to explore identity as something constantly shifting between projection, reflection, and disruption. Using photography and digital layering, I built a system where each form represents a different condition of the self, showing how identity changes depending on perspective and interaction.

Greek Eclipse Book

My book is where the idea for my senior show, Faces of Totality, really began. I began exploring the eclipse through Greek mythology, using the Sun, Moon, and Eclipse as Greek gods. That process became the foundation for the themes of identity, shifting perspectives, and in-between states that I later pushed further in my final exhibition about the eclipse.

Avatar Uno Set

This project reimagines a classic UNO deck through the world of Avatar: The Last Airbender, turning a familiar game into a more immersive, themed experience. By pairing UNO’s simple, recognizable structure with the Avatar universe, the deck feels cohesive, easy to play, and visually connected to the show without changing the core gameplay.
